Alright, SongRisers. Time to roll up your sleeves and get ready for some #meme work!
21st January is the Squirrel Appreciation Day (🐿,🐿) we recognize our brush-tiled critters and all the good they do! The day was created in 2001 by a wildlife rehabilitator name Christy Hargrove who was affiliated with the Western North Carolina Nature Center. According to Christy, “Celebration of the event itself is up to the individual or group — anything from putting out extra food for the squirrels to learning something new about the species.”
To show respect for the little fluffy creatures, SongRise is excited to announce our first meme contest for all squirrel lovers, in order to warm up the engines as we approach our first NFT sales🚀

Each contestant will only be allowed 1 meme submission. This contest will end on 31st January 2022 end of day UTC. Winners will be announced in mid-February.
Selection of winners
The SongRise team will pick the top 20 entries with the most likes on Twitter to go through a community voting on Discord.
In order to vote, we will open up the Discord sub-server “meme-contest-voting” on 4th to 8th February 2022 where SongRisers vote the best memes you think deserve the best prize. Points will be awarded to candidates with the following emojis:

👍- 1 point
Note: Emojis other than these will not be counted for points.
